Fisherman's Log:
Spent most of the day battling for position among many other boats to get an open shot along the tidal tips. We fished south of Kalgin Island for the first time this season, getting pulled with the tides far to the south and the west of Cook Inlet.
Over 500 vessels participate in the Cook Inlet drift fishery.
